Ovarian Cysts

I have been trying to shrink my cysts now for two months now so that I can have a child but in doing this I have now been dealing with lots of pain and swelling in the abdomen. My doctor gave me a five day dose of clomid to help me start ovulating and that didn't work. I am now taking metformin twice a day and will soon be taking it three times a day. I am afraid that I will have to have surgery to have my ovaries removed. I do not want that cause I want to have a baby. I feel that my doctor is not helping me but hurting me more by prescribing me these meds. What is the best treatment for pcos and what can I do for the pain and swelling?

If you feel that your Dr. isn't helping you, you probably would feel better getting a second opinion.
