Thank you. I've had a ct scan last Monday. For further info, I'll be 63 in August.
I have read about the different stages, I was concerned because of length of time this has gone on, that it might advance the stage.
I appreciate all your kind words. I'll be calling the hospital Monday afternoon if they don't call me in the morning.
I am so sorry you are going through this! It must be nerve wracking to have so little info and have to wait. Have you had any imaging done yet? As I understand it,stage one is confined to just the ovaries, stage 2 has spread to the tubes, 3 has spread to other parts of the abdomen or pelvis and 4 involves the liver. I'm thinking they wouldn't be able to have a good idea of the stage unless you have had an ultrasound or ct Scan. My guess is that they will do some scans, if they haven't already, then go from there.
I wish I could be more helpful! Try not to worry too much, but I would definitely push for the appointment very soon!
Also, these levels can be elevated for other reasons than cancer so just because you have elevated levels doesn't mean it's definitely cancer. I'm sending good thoughts your way.
