Ovarian cyst symptoms and mild anemia?

I was diagnosed with right ovarian cyst back in 2012 (17 years old). I went to the hospital and the doctor advised me to undergo operation, but then I insisted to undergo operation since I've to take some important exam on that year. In 2012, hospital seems to be my second home. Things getting worst at the end of 2012, I had high fever (39.9°C) and I still remember during that time I'm period day 1 or day 2. Then I started to follow up like once for two weeks. Until one day the doctor said I'm free from ovarian cyst (because she couldn't see it from ultrasound image) but she asked me to directly go to the hospital if I'm not feeling well.

Since 2016 (21 years old), I think every month before my period, I feel so dizzy, vomit, sometimes have fever, bloating and breast tenderness. Is it normal? Or is it symptoms of ovarian cyst? It affect my performance if I've test or exam. I'm really confused about my condition. I'm scared to meet the doc, since I'm not ready to undergo operation.

Besides that, every time I do full blood count, my haemoglobin always below 12 and they categories me having mild anemia. Is it because of the ovarian cyst I've mild anemia?

Thanks in advance

Cysts are a normal part of the menstrual cycle and most go away on their own, no intervention needed, as yours did in 2012. You certainly don't want to undergo surgery unless it's necessary.

Iron deficiency anemia is usually caused by heavy or prolonged menstrual bleeding. Some women are more prone to becoming anemic than others. Eating iron rich foods and/or taking an iron supplement would be a good idea if your iron is indeed low. Low iron may explain your dizziness but not sure it would cause fever or vomiting. I've heard of women vomiting at certain times in their menstrual cycle. I'm not sure what causes it. I haven't heard of fevers though which could be caused by any number of things.

I hope you can get some answers. Please keep us posted.
