Ovarian cyst vs cancer

I have had increasing pain from ovarian cyst for about a year. The pain has been pretty constant ranging from a dull to excruciating pain. The last month the pain has been constant and getting worse. I had a pet scan last October for lung nodules and my right ovary showed on the pet scan with a high uptake. Results indicated possible malignancy. Had CA 125 test showed normal. Every ultra sound shows the cyst and now showing mass 6cm. Dr's do not seem concerned. My stomach is bloated, urgency to urinate no UTI just had that tested, feel full quickly and Lower right abdominal pain and lower right back pain, the pain has not gone away it is constant and the only relief I am getting is from pain meds. I am 41 and have had 2 children. History of breast cancer in my family. Should I be freaking out like I am now or am I being overly concerned???

you know your body better then anyone!!!! dont ignore anything. I ended up being DX with an Immature Teretoma. for me it started with an unsual 2 week cycle, after the ER discovered a 14x8x6.5cm tumor 2 weeks later I grew to look like I was 8 months prego and in a lot of pain. I did have surgery about 3 weeks ago to remove. Im not saying thats what you have as im no doctor but NEVER EVER IGNORE YOUR BODY. If something is not right tell them... and dont leave until you have an answer you are happy with

Hopefully you are just overly concerned. You should see a top gyn, who primarily does ovarian surgeies ASAP to put yourself at ease. In ny, I highly recommend dr Elizabeth poyner.
