Please Help....late period due to cyst

I have been tracking my ovulation and I know I ovulated 7/21..bbt rise, positive opk, ewcm, ovulation cramps...now I am 26 dpo and getting negative hpt..has anyone had a cyst that caused them no to have a period or a period very very late....I just had surgery in may to remove a large cyst so I doubt I have another one said my dr but my period is really late..2 weeks late...now with the negative pregnancy tests I think its a cyst.....has ANYONE had a cyst that caused them such a late period????

thanks, I have been ovulating since my surgery though, this is the first month w/o AF

Cysts can make cycles irregular, yes, but the one ovary may still be in recovery mode from surgery and perhaps it's just not going to ovulate for this cycle.  Maybe there are others at the Pregnancy Community that have had similar experiences?  You could ask the same question over there.  Not many ladies on the cyst forum monitor ovulation as much as those on the pregnancy forum.
