Question about pain after Laparoscopic surgery

Hello all,

I had a laparoscopic surgery done last Friday in which they found 2 cysts (one on each ovary). All they did was drain the cysts and clean up a little endometroisis. What I am expirencing now is a little achy pain that is going from my low left pelvic area into my thighs. Is this normal and from the surgery? Wondering if anybody has expirenced the same pain? Thanks!

Hi,
Even though laparoscopic surgery is considered small compared to some "open" surgeries,  you are still being cut . It will take awhile for the soreness to go away. Did they ask that you not drive or lift anything for 2 weeks? You may be overdoing it a little .I
would give it a little time and if it doesn't appear to be improving, I'd give the Dr. a call, but I'm sure you'll feel better shortly. It's only been a week..
