Oh, buttercups87, I am so sorry to hear about your dilemma.  I wish you all the best.  That must be so hard to deal with, especially at the very young age of 22.  It is soooo frustrating to say the least -- not to mention painful and stressful.

I wish both of you the very best!

Hey there well to answer you question yes they can form that quick. I also had my left ovary and tube removed in November of last year due to a dermoid cyst that had grown to cover the entire ovary, and by January I had a cyst on my right ovary. My Dr. said that it was a functional cyst however here we are 9 months later and its developed into a complex cyst and has grown larger. Jodi I know exactly how you feel I'm only 22 and I've had enough of this **** its so emotionally stressful and painful, just when you think you've gone through the worst part and finally going to be pain and worry free it comes right back. Well Milandy I'm going to be praying that you're not back into our situation no woman should ever have to deal with all this but so many of us are. Jodi you hang in there I will also be praying for you.

Hi, your situation sounds very similar to mine.  I had my right ovary/tube removed back in February of this year along with part of my left ovary.  Now, seven months later, I have a 6.6cm cyst on my left ovary.  I'm not sure how old you are, but I am 47 years old.  I am sick and tired of dealing with this, so I am going to have my remaining ovary and tube removed.  I was trying to prevent instant surgical menopause, but my doctor said that it would just come back again.  I guess I am prone to cysts :(

I certainly hope you don't have a new cyst that has developed.  I'll be thinking good thoughts for you!
