I had a dermoid and left ovary removed recently.  When they went in to do that they found a peduncultated uterine fibroid.  Those have to be removed!  The doctor explained to me that 80% of women have fibroids and they shrink in menopause.  It depends how they are situated and how big they are if they need to be removed.

Definitely see your doctor.  Let me know how you are.

I know how scary it can be, but you really need to go see your doctor.  I do not have much knowledge in uterine fibroids, but I do know that when a cyst reaches 5cm the doctors start to consider removal.  If it is a complex cyst your doctor may want to go ahead and remove it.  Please go see your doctor.  MOST ovarian cysts are benign.  Your daughter needs you to be proactive and take care of yourself so you can take care of her!  We will be here to support you!
