Returning pain after hemorrhagic ovarian cyst

Hi,

About 3.5 weeks ago I went to the ER with intense abdominal pain which the CT revealed as a ruptured hemorrhagic ovarian cyst. I was admitted to the hospital for monitoring of my hemoglobin/hematocrit levels. I was released with instructions for a 2 week follow up and more imaging 6 weeks later. Because of scheduling my follow up ended up being 3 weeks from the day the cyst ruptured. About 2.5 weeks after the rupture my pain subsided and I felt normal. Two days before my follow up the pain returned and my GYN ordered an ultrasound for the next week. However, I am concerned because the pain is increasing and I'm wondering if this is normal for the pain to return after feeling normal. I'm curious to see if anyone else could have this experience and what the end result of it was.
