Right adnexal cystic lesion
I am 33yrs old married woman got married at the age of 21 yrs have two children a son and a daughter.  present age of my son is 13 yrs and daughter 6yrs. Last week went for general gyno check up doctor advised for an ultra sound in ultra sound following impression "RIGHT ADNEXAL CYSTIC LESION WITH SEPTATIONS -PROBABLY OVARIAN ORGIN"  a elongated cystic lesion is noted in right adnexa measuring  7.1x2.6 cms doctor advised for a surgery or laproscopy.
My questions

a)  will it be a cancerous cyst
b) after laproscopy or surgery will it reoccur  


Note :-  My elder sister suffers from crevical cancer. Did papsmear test result came normal

Pap tests are useless for diagnosing anything concerning ovaries.  Yes, cysts can redevelop as long as you still have ovaries. Nobody can predict if it will or won't happen again.
