Right side pelvic pain for long, long time

I have an ultrasound scheduled for tomorrow but this seems like the place to ask the question.

I'm 48, have had 2 C-Sections (one 29 years ago and the other 19) and a tubal with searing.  I'm on the pill to manage ranging peri-menopausal symptoms.  Severe and constant nausea and vomiting (it was like being pregnant again) and heavy periods that started over and over and then nothing.

I went to the ER one day with terrible symptoms and they did an ultrasound (the right side quadrant of pelvic area pain and throwing up in the bushes when I was fine 10 minutes before).  They found cysts in both ovaries but not complex cysts.  Also, there were uterine fibroids.  This was over a year ago and before being on the pill.

My doctor is very good.  He put me on the pill and said the cysts and fibroids were not big enough to cause my symptoms but the hormonal changes could.

Now, the pain in my right side is worsening and continuing.  The nausea and vomiting are back (not as frequent but it is back including in the middle of the night as well as morning.  The bloating is there.  A manual exam so far doesn't reveal that he can feel the cysts but can feel the fibroids still.  He doesn't think that this explains what is wrong with me, but I've had a cat scan and am well other wise and cannot determine what else it could be.

Any experiences like this - ideas?  Just have to live with it if the ultrasound shows non-complex cysts tomorrow.

Hi CJAP
im not sure if i can help you but iys good that your seeing your doctor so you could hlget diagnose..
I think that maybe your cyst are getting bigger which is causing your pain.. You'll find out when you go for your ultrasound... Something that is good is that you already know what type of cyst you have which is a simple cyst meaning its fluid filled and 95% beningn...
Its good that your ct scan is normal
ask your doctor for ca125 its a tumor marker
also follow up on your papsmear if you havnt just to rule that out...
Dont worry to much i think your ok if your cyst are bigger then maybe you'll be put on bc to see if the cyst will shrink if not then surgery to remove the cyst
