Sex after surgery

Hi, I just got surgery last week for some ovarian dermoids. I had a bikini line incesion and the doctor didnt tell me when i could start having sex. so my husband and i had sex bu family members are tellin me i can get an infection from having sex too soon after my surgery! is that true?

Hummmm.....oops.  :)  I had a laproscopic (2 1/2 insicion on bikini line, one in belly button one on left side)....my husband and I have never been very good at waiting.....LOL.  We did yesterday, doc didn't say so we figured...don't ask don't tell.  Probably not good advice.....but it was worth it!!! LOL
