V.V.V.Severe pain 4 and a bit weeks post op.

Hi, was just wondering if anyone has had the same as me.
Just over 4 weeks ago I had a v.large ovarian cyst removed from my left ovary (originally thought to be appendicitis), all the incisions have healed up really well and haven't had any pain.......until now. It feels exactly like the night I collapsed in pain (when my cyst ruptured), only on the other side and not quite so bad. I am incredibly bloated, and feel very nauseous.
I don't know if I should call my doctor, or if it's just period pains???

Anyone help?

I second Auntcobbie's opinion.  You really should call your doctor right away.  I have had two laparotomy's and did not have that symptom with either one.

Hi--sorry you are having such pain!  I believe that you should definitely call your doctor.  When in doubt, I would error on the side of caution.  And, remember, they work for you essentially.  I think any good doctor would want to know if you were in such severe pain.

Call!
