Worried about complex ovarian cyst

A bit of my history
Dx with PCOS in 2000
Dx with Dermoid Cyst & Removed in 2004 also 3/4 of right ovary because cyst was all within the ovary
Dx with Ovarian Torsion on left ovary in 2008.............ovary was saved
Dx with Complex Ovarian Cyst on left ovary 2010

My symptoms I have been suffering from: abdominal pain, back pain, nausea, indigestion, extremely tired & fatigued, shortness of breath, pain in the groin, fake baby kicks, extreme left shoulder pain
I had a ultrasound on 31st March 2010 and it showed the complex cyst measuring 2.7cm, have a CTSCAN tomorrow because the pain is getting worse and been going on for 2.5 months now
My question is: what does everyone think with cyst whether it would be beign or maligant

Idk if you'll see this ,and I know this is years later . But I've been having the same pains and at some points it hurts to move or pee or number two (tmi sorry ) my periods have been really bad or really weird since the month of October, and the pain just is basically constant . Nothing seems to help .

I want to assure you that 95% of all ovarian cysts are NOT cancerous.  It would be unlikely (but not heard of) for someone your age to have ovarian cancer.  While your cyst is considered "small", it can cause a ton of pain.  The pain you are feeling can be normal when you have a cyst.  When they did your ultrasound, was it a transvaginal one?  Sometimes, you can see the cyst better by doing a transvaginal ultrasound rather than a CT scan.  I find that they are both very effective in finding cyst measurements. Please let us know what you find out tomorrow.
