abdominal pain

i have been experiencing abdominal pain and have a history of cysts on my ovaries, but during my recent ultrasound they found a cyst on my left ovary but could not see my right ovary? they tried for 10 minutes and then did a colour doppler which just showed a red mass and i was told to make an appointment (asap) with my doctor. what does it mean? should i be worried or am i being daft? please help.

HI,
The ovary may not be seen if it is placed posterior and behind other structures. Hence do not be worried and stress yourself. An examination with a gynaecologist and MRI or CT scan will make the picture clear.
