cure for ovarian cysts

im ann from philippines,24yrs old,single.i go for ultrasound twice cause of suffering too much bleeding continously for 3weeks.it was found out that i have an ovarian cyst both of my ovary(left with 5.6cm-right with 3.5cm),im scared because i wonder it may occur again and again.my question is,do i really go for operation just to cure this?or is there a treatment for this aside from operation?if this will not be removed,what will happen to me?and im also curios what is the main cause why women suffer this?pls help me,pls answer my question coz im so scared already.thanks and pleasantly

hi...I am 25 yrs. old,,2 weeks ago i am suffering these stomach pain..and my employer send me to the hospital to see whatshappening on me...so through ultra sound they found out that I  have a Cysts on my left side Ovary 7-8.20 cm diameter...in my case i think I have to go for a surgery to remove mt Left ovary....
Praise God only my left ovary was affected...
so this monday Oct.20 I was scheduled to see the Doctor again...coz by this moment I am under observation...
Balita kita whats the official advice ng Doctor...owkie..
Avoid carrying too much HEAVY things..a pice of advice ;)
Just Pray..God is Good nd Merciful...

Oh, how I wish we knew why these happen.  There really isn't a rhyme or reason.  I do know that it could be hormone related.  

Continue to push and listen to your doctors.  I do have a friend who had two surgeries due to cysts in her mid 20's and it has been 10 years and two successful pregnancies later without any more problems.  Good luck with everything.

  There is a forum especially for women with ovarian cysts. The women there are full of knowledge about cysts and I am sure that you will find the answers you seek over there, plus a lot of support.

surgery is usually discussed when these ugly beasts are found ... but two things to consider ... 1. fertility sparing surgery if u plan to have a family naturally so consult a gynecologic oncologist 2. hormones if everything is benign ... consulting a reproductive endocrinologist should be best
