Having an existing cyst (cysts often resolve themselves within a few months or else need to be surgically removed) can affect your ability to conceive but there are many women who have cysts that do go on to have babies.  Please get these looked at.  They can twist or burst which are medical emergencies.  If you have a dramatic increase in pain you need to get to the ER.  You aren't supposed to live with a cyst indefinitely.  They do need to be monitored and watched.

Hi.
Just a little suggestion for you that may save you some time..You don't have to post separately to each individual.. You can include both recipients in same post if you like.

You should be seeing a Gyn. regularly. Most health insurance plans will pay for an annual check up with your Gyn. I'm confused though about the Health Insurance. Most folks know if they have it or not.Check with your employer.

Hi,
Just want to "echo" Laney.  You will feel so much better after your visit with your Dr. and the TVUS. There's no sense worrying and trying to figure out what's going on all on your own. Once your Dr. orders the necessary tests, you'll know for sure .Then, you'll be able to deal with it. Cysts are very , very common.. Try not to worry.

Keep us posted,
Sandy

Cysts are so very common throughout premenopausal years. Many people have them and don't know it. Some people are keenly aware of them. Have you seen your gyn?
If not, I would suggest going to see him/her, having a pelvic exam and a transvaginal ultrasound. That will show what is going on in there. Take comfort in knowing 95% of cysts are nothing and most resolve on their own. Good Luck and let us now how you make out.
