endo and cancer

Hi everyone.  I have been diagnosed with endo seven years ago and have had the surgery twice.  I was able to have a baby a year ago!  Thank God!!  Now, I have been having pain but not the same kind.  It is much lower and it is inconsistant.  I have it whenever it feels like being there.  I also feel bloated and over the past few days have had a change in my bowels.  I feel pressure all the time too.  Can anyone tell me if you have a high risk of getting cancer if you have had cysts and endo in past?  Thanks!

hi
just wanted to clarify something in your last post here in case this refers to something i said.  i didn't say that the ca125 wouldn't be accurate for dxing ovca...........i said that endo can also cause the ca125 to be elevated (as can ovca) so if one has endo an elevated ca125 could be related to that and/or ovca.
just wanted to clarify!

Thank you Sharon!
I do have an ultrasound scheduled for next week and I had CA125 test done yesterday.  I just found out that if you have endo then the CA125 test will not be accurate in diagnosing oc.  I'm just worried that it is not the endo this time, it feels different and I have back pain today!!  Thanks for info.

hello
please look up jan214's link to the cysts pamphlet it is very informative
please seek out a gyn and request a transvaginal ultrasound .. any abdominal pain and change in bowel habits should be followed with a gyn visit as soon as u can ... i dont know all the liklihoods of cancer unfortunately but i do know having endo puts u at risk for "endomitrioas" which have a good chance of being benign ... having said that ... the only way they know for sure is to do a biopsy once cysts are confirmed on ultrasound ... congrats on ur new baby and good luck on ur quest
