Loosing a tube would be the worst thing, as I have already lost several babies, and to have my chances slashed of having a baby even more would tear me apart, is there any thing that I can do to help stop this from happening, and if the were to remove one, what is to stop it happening again with the other one?

If they say it is not solid, that is encouraging.   Chances are a lot of your misery is being caused by the pressure the cyst is placing on nearby organs, including the urinary tract.  Tubes are very delicate so yes it is possible you may lose the affected one.  You will still be able to have children with one tube/ovary connection remaining.  I do hope they get your surgery scheduled quickly so that you can be on the road to recovery sooner rather than later.

hi, I can totally relate to what you are going through. I think the frustration of not knowing
what to do or is going to happen makes it worse. I, get frustrated because the Dr.s are basically blowing me off. I had to go to the ER to get the test done or it would still not be done. Now I have to wait for 2 more months. With the interent people can look these things up and get more information than a Dr is willing to give and I do not understand that either. I do not know what to do either.

I cried when they told me as they were unable to say if i would loose my tube or not, and when i asked if it was endometriosis (sp) or some thing worse he just told me that he was unable to tell me untill i was operated on, and asked if cancer ran in my family which completely freaked me out and cry more, I know the mass is not solid, but not to sure if that is good or bad? the pain is so bad I have taken 120mg of codine phosphate today and still can not sleep due to the pain and 150mg of diclophenic, which i personally think is useless, and now they are saying change me on to tramadol, but although it helps some what with the pain, i am so confused, disorientated on it it is not an option, not sure if this is related, but I keep drinking and going to the toilet, I used to drink 1-2 drinks aday, now i drink non stop, and when i need to pee i have to go then, and the pain of a full bladder is horrible and when i go, it hurts in my tummy, i just wish some one could either make it go away, or at least tell me what is going on.

I'm sorry you are going through such a hard time.  I am a bit concerned about the mass being in the fallopian tube.  Did they tell you what that was?  When will your surgery be?  If it is the cyst that is causing the problems, you will feel so much better when it comes out.  Please keep us posted on how you are doing.

hi, thank you for replying,
I think I did nto stop eating as much, just ate little and often, where as now I seem to be starving all the time, but quickly feel sick, I am unsure if they plan to remove the cyst but assume they must be as I cant see how they can leave a golf ball cyst in my tube, surely that is not good, hense the accute pain. I am waiting to be given a new date as my lap is now being brought forward.  any day now i hope as I can not handle the pain any longer. is it common to get them IN the tube, as google seeems to always say ON the tube.

Usually we gain weight from having a cysts rather than lose weight.  Has your appetite been suffering from this?  You say you are awaiting a lap.  Is it surgery to remove the cyst?  When will this occur?

I hope all goes well for you. Most of us feel tremendously better and have an overall improvement in health once a cyst is removed.  I will be hoping for the same good outcome for you.
