how often do they grow back?

ive had one surgery and several cysts but they didnt end up removing them as they has already burst... in the space of two years i had about three rupture. im 27 and my gynecologist has stopped my periods as she says they tend to cause cysts. im not overly worried about it as reading other posts i know im not too bad. but they are very painful, any warning signs i should be looking for?

It can take at least a few months for some women to get used to the IUD as well as other forms of birth control, for that matter. Hope it works out for you!

Welcome to the community. Some women have more symptoms than others with ovarian cysts. I had one that did not cause any symptoms until it got to 9cm at which point I had one day of unrelenting pain (but nothing prior to that) which then subsided even though the cyst did not rupture. When cysts get large, they can also cause urinary symptoms as they may be pressing on the bladder. Bowel changes may also occur. I hope your treatment (continuous birth control?) works for you!

Let us know how it is working out as it may help someone else.
