irregular menstral cycle

June 16th of this year I went in to have a dermoid cyst on my right ovary removed. Sadly, there was nothing left of my ovary and that had to be removed as well. Now, a little over a month later, I'm late on my period. I've had sex with my boyfriend, so I'm scared that I might be pregnant. Or is it a regular thing to have an irregular period after an procedure like that?

After the removal of an ovary it can take several months for your other ovary to take over.  Your periods may be erratic.  I had the opposite - way too many periods in that time but after 3 months all got back to normal.  You should still check out pregnancy.
