by Kennedi_Sly, Nov 05, 2009 12:24AM
Well im only 17 and last year i had a cyst drained on my left fallopian tube. After the surgery the pain was still there and now its getting worst. My doctor has me on birth control because on a ultrasound he did it showed the cyst grew back he told me if the birth control works and shrinks the cyst im fine but if the cyst grows back he may have to remove my left fallppian tube. is that what he should do?

Many time BC pills are enough to get things back to normal.  Tubes are easily damaged, though, which is what he is trying to avoid.  Yes, it could get bad enough to require removal, but try not to get that far ahead of yourself.  Give the easier solution a chance to work.
