I would suggest you make an appointment with your Gyn doctor. Vaginal odor can be present if you have some type of infection, and you should get checked. It might also be hormonal. A nabothian cyst would not cause you to have this problem.
No matter how hygienic you are it wouldn't make a difference if you have some type of infection, it would need to be treated with medication.
You might try posting on the womens health forum too, as this forum is for ovarian cysts.
Any unusual odor or discharge should be checked by the doctor, it isn't normal to have such a strong odor for other people to be noticing.
