laparoscopic surgery recovery question

I had laparoscopic surgery over a week ago because of having unknown stomach pain and nausea.  They had to drain a cyst. I was wondering how long does it take to recover from this. I am still weak and tired. The pain in the stomach and nausea is most of the time and if anything it is worse than before I had surgery. I have to take stong pain medication to control the pain.  My surgeon says everything is healing and it takes time but should it take this long to recover from this? I have also been having heavy bleeding from this that hasn't let up yet. I would appreciate any advice you could give me.

Thank you for your comment. It has now been almost two weeks since the surgery. I am still having stomach pain and nausea off and on. Now I have been having awful back pain that shoots pain down the right leg that I never had before the surgery that makes me hobble and walk slow. Also, if I walk to much in work I get out of breath and have chest pains with pain going down arm. I sometimes have the chest pain off and on throughout the day no matter what I am doing. Is this normal to have this happen after surgery or is something wrong? I would greatly appreciate any help you could give me in this matter.  Thank you very much.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
I can understand your concern but it is normal to have pain after laparoscopic surgery. Apply warm compresses and take anti inflammatory drug like Ibuprofen or Diclofenac after consulting your gynaecologist. You can also add seratiopeptidase to your medicines for faster healing. Avoid doing any strenuous activity till there is complete healing. If the pain persists then any infection has to be ruled out.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
