large irregular tumor/dermoid cyst

Hi

Im due to have a large irregular dermoid cyst/tumour removed on 10th May via a laparotomy i am getting extremly anxious about this my questions are

1. how long is recovery after operation
2. has anyone had this done by spinal aneasthesia
3. im really concerned this is going to be malignant im 42 the cyst grew quite quickly i have pain in lower back thigh groin and lower abdomen i feel sick and dizzy all the time extremely tired urinating a lot more and my bowel habits have changed dramatically what are the chances of this.
