ovarian cysts/gi problems

hi... im 24 yo and ive been having problems with abdominal pain/ovaries/heavy bleeding with period, etc.  ive had stomach problems for as long as i can remember. by 17 i had two ulcers, and stomach aches are nothing short of a regular occurrence for me. two yrs ago i had two small cysts that appear to have resolved themselves. last year, i had a trip to the ER for severe abdominal pain. spent the whole night in the ER and left with no answers, just a bunch of possibilities. cancer tests, gallbladder tests, countless ultrasounds and MRIs and CTs, you name it.  what brought me to this site was what ive been experiencing this past week. i've had seriously intense pain in my right lower abdomen and extra heavy bleeding with my period. ive lived with a heating pad on my lower abdomen for a whole week now, and have had diarrhea, nausea and deep pressure on my lower right side for the past 3 days. my bf sent me this link and i got to reading all the women who experience the same thing ive been, as well as with the history of GI problems. i went to the doctor today and left with pretty much no answers. they did a vaginal ultrasound right in the office (the last time i had one was after my night in the ER in aug '09). they didnt see anything, but according to my doc if there was a cyst that already ruptured they wouldnt have detected it today. when they did the first vaginal ultrasound, i was nauseous and throwing up for about a week - that was outside of the severe abdominal pain that they associated with possible gallbladder issues. my doc today suggested BC to help. ive been there done that. im frustrated and tired of having no answers. any suggestions??

I am assuming that they made sure that it wasn't your appendix right??  If you had a cyst that ruptured, it may feel just like you explained, but so can just having a cyst.  Since they did an ultrasound and didn't see anything, I would guess that you had a cyst rupture.  Also, you could ask them to do a Hide-A-Scan and that can tell if your gallbladder is working correctly.  You don't have to have gall stones to have gall bladder issues.  When do you see the doctor again?  I'm sorry I don't have more answers for you.  Praying for you!
