ovarian cysts

Hi,
I am 43 years old with a 15 month old baby. When I was pregnant, the doctors found cysts on one of my ovaries. We never did anything about it since it would not harm the baby. Now I have a lot of bleeding during my cycle but it is still regular. I also experience some pain on my right side after intercourse. I realize I am approaching the age where this could be menopause but really don't have any sympoms. Is it possible that the cysts could have gone away?

Many cysts do resolve themselves but the fact that you are having pain may mean they have not.  Please have your doctor run another transvaginal ultrasound to check.   Good luck with everything.
