pain

i just want to know if all this pain is normal actually the pain is loosing up alittle but sometimes it seems to go to the other side of my lower tummy. on the 21st  i found out i have a cyst on my right ovary that has blood in it instead of fluid i was in pain for a week before finding out that i had a cyst. pain was horrible over the weekend and went to the er they told me to have surgery to remove it or go home and deal with it, stupiid me went home, was back in er the next day asked them to do surgery but they did another ultra sound and found out it was shrinking alittle so no surgery. today i still have some pain my doctors office is busy no appointments anyway is the pain normal how long does it last what do i do thanks for any advice

If it is shrinking, it may be ruptured and leaking blood.  In other words it is going away, but it is not a fun process.  Whenever a cyst leaks anything into your body it HURTS while the body works to re-absorb everything.  It can take days, even weeks, depending on how much the body needs to absorb.  Not much to do except take something for the pain and watch for any symptoms that might indicate an infection that needs treatment prescribed by your doctor (antibiotics).

thank you i was getting a little nervous i wish it would go away how would i tell if there is an infection? and the pain is normal right
