post op :)

Ok, went under at noon yesterday! My doctor found a chocolate cyst at 9cm. He also found that  my right ovary and tube had previously been cut and burned. WTF? and my cyst was on my left ovary, which twisted and killed the remaining ovary and tube so now I'm not going to be able to conceive without ivf. I'm very upset.

I'm so sorry to hear that, but thankfully not all hope is lost. I wish you best of luck.

Hi,
It is unfortunate that both your ovaries and fallopian tubes had problems and had to be removed. But at least there is a small consolation that a pregnancy is not impossible. It will be possible with treatment, albeit a bit costly. Hence do not lose heart and hope.
Take care and good luck.
