removing cyst-time of delivery

my wife has pregnant( Eight month) and she carry a cyst(15 cm) in ovary. The doctor suggested it will remove at the time of delivery(through surgery). Is it any danger removing cyst while the time of delivery?,Any problems?Any precautions?

I think it is wonderful the pregnancy will go to term without having to remove the cyst!  Congratulations to you and your wife!
There is always some risk with any surgical procedure.   I know tubal ligations are routinely done after a delivery and if this cyst is benign, I can't imagine her procedure would be  any more difficult.
