Trust me I am very frustrated wiht my health but more so with my Dr's and yes I feel my original OBGYN is somewhat at fault for not listening to me; however, with my insurance I have to have referrals and have a small selection of Dr's to chose from. I just want answers or atleast a diagnosis that is correct or atleast tell me what kind of cyst it is (or was). I am so lost and dr's thiink I just want pain meds not just an answer. I am so fed up yet am tied by my crappy insurance for now. new insurance as of January 1 more expensive but hopefully will be better. I don't have the funds to seek out help otherwise. Thanks for responding. I will be sure to ask about if ruptured and solid masses if any seen on test or if need a different diagnostic screening. I just wish Dr's cared more and our system was so flawed!!!!
Thanks for the input; however, I have not been diagnosed with a tilted uterus or anything like that. Unless, something happened during my surgery in Feb. that my old OBGYN didn't want to tell me. Yet, nothing showed on the pelvic ultrasounds or CT either. Thanks for the imput though, I will ask the Dr. when she calls with my most current results--hopefully today or tom or it will be Mon with the holiday.
Hi...i would have shooting pains up into my vagina alot too..for years..mostly when id sit..i was told it was most likely due to having a tilted uterus..which i do have..did they say your uterus was retroverted also? I know its very painful at times..also can hurt at times when having sex.
I don't have much to go on to make this judgment, but it sounds like the doctors are at fault here. You really need to see a top rated gynecologist, preferably one that does not do obstetrics as well, just gynecology. If a cyst ruptures that has solid elements, those pieces don't just go away....they scatter and attach themselves to the internal parts. I hope that is not what occurred. Ruptures can hurt for weeks after the event, even for simple cysts. GOOD doctors would give truly good descriptions of whatever you have and would keep tryng to figure out why you have pain. Cysts can affect mood, but so can menopause. It's hard to say what is the cause. Frustration with your health, most likely.
