simple cyst

by janepm, Jul 25, 2009 09:13PM
Hi all: so I have researched what medhlep and others have to say about simple cysts and that is apparently what my GYN says that I have. Are simple cysts in menopause something to be concerned about? My CA-125 showed up normal as did my CEA>

Even though cysts are more worrisome past menopause, there is still a 95 % chance that the cyst you have is benign. They can't be 100% sure till the path results are in. I'm glad the CA- 125 returned a normal result ... I wouldn't be concerned if I were you...Even those past menopause can get simple cysts..
