I am not a medical professional, only speaking from experience. You are doing the right thing by monitoring your temperature.  But donot let up till things are stabilised or there is a valid reason(s) for your low grade fever post surgery.  If you continue having occassional low grade fevers, go and have your incisions checked to rule out infection.  The earlier an infection is caught the easier to get over it. Be prepared to have your concerns trivialised but stick to the facts and keep on it.

Send you all the strenght you need to see you through.

I see what you mean... i found out about my cyst in india in 2004 and it was around 5cms but my doctors just  brushed it out and said its nothing and common.. so i was put on bcp pills and then fast forward till mar 07 when i found a nodule in my thyroid which was cancerous...but omg now i am freaking out...but i am fine..

I thought it was vice versa like if your thyroid messed up and then everything else is messed up...

It is possible that the cyst is affecting your thyroid function as it did with me (my thyroid has no natural function so take Synthroid).  Hope you can get things under control and some answers soon.

I dont have a thyroid... I had to surgically remove it and have radiation due to thyroid cancer in Mar 2007 and since then my endocrinologist is monitoring them and they are where he  wants it to be...

For the swelling I was wondering if you had thyroid issues.  When I had my cyst issues last year I had a lot of swelling in my feet and hands and my thyroid hormones went absolutely wacky.  By the time I hit 8 weeks I felt so much better.  Sounds like you're doing fine with monitoring the temperature.  Be aware that sometimes a surgery can trigger (not cause) other health issues.  My Lupus was triggered after mine.  It would have come eventually but stresses to our bodies or emotionally can bring it out sooner.  You know your body best.

I havent had my BP checked after they discharged me from the hospital and i have no issues with my BP so far..I talked to my doctor about the swollen feet cause when i read the paper work from CVS it said feet swelling is a side effect so my doctor told me to stop taking them... i havent been in pain at all for me to pop pain meds... but i keep taking some regular strength tynelol.. but my back is sore and i am sore...

I also had a low grade fever (99.9) and i could get that under control by taking some tynelol..

Has your blood pressure been checked lately?  It may be on the high side.  That is not a typical side effect of this surgery.  Have you asked your doctor?
