I had the same pain in 2002. It was my Gall Bladder.  The pain was under my rib cage and through to my back.  If felt like someone was trying to push a baby out my back.  It went on for a few years on and off until it got so bad I had to go the emergency room. I had to go on a bland diet for a few days till they could get me in for emergency surgery.  Again we are not doctors, so please have your wife go to the doctor, because if it is gall bladder, it can rupture.

good luck

Hi,
can your wife actually feel something when she touches the area , or is it just a feeling that something is there?. It would be very difficult to hazzard a guess as to what it might be, has she been doing any heavy lifting lately and maybe pulled a muscle ?. As nobody on this forum has medical training I think it would impossible to know what it could be. I would go to the doctor and ask for an ultrasound or an xray (could she have cracked a rib). There are so many possibilities . I hope you find the answer soon , keep us posted and good luck.

Best wishes Angie

Yes ,I agree with Cirella that this is what has happened with this post . I was in total shock when I saw it and then maybe inappropriately was in hysterics !!. I hope the poster  checks back and realises what has happened.

OK, this is what happens when someone copies and pastes another medhelp post into another.  All the tag words bring related things.  If this post is for real, they will come back.

Well, this is one of the more bizarre things I have seen on this site. Man if you are showing her lists like this no wonder she is obsessing.  She needs to quit obsessing about all it could be and start obsessing about how to take care of it.

I have no idea what that post means with that huge list.. but the best thing to do is have your wife see a Dr.. We are not Drs. here. This is an Ovarian Cyst forum
