PTSD Speech Problems

Has anyone had problems communicating?  I have problems with finding the right word to use.  Sometimes I use I will get so frustrated.  My family and friends say that I repeat myself a lot. I do know this, especially when I am excited, happy or upset.  I completely lose my train of thought.  I used to be able to speak in public, and train people.  This has been difficult for me. Am I alone? I have battled through much worse demons than this, but I don't want to give up now.

My ptsd was similiar i had difficulty concentrating and remembering things,
had alot of delusions it got so bad my doctor thought i had psychosis.

I really recommend that you join groups with people who have suffered similiar trauma, it helps you establish a link with people around you.

Is your trauma making you withdraw from society?

I have ptsd had it since I was little but just got diagnosed about three years ago. I have noticed I have a social and speaking problem cause of it. It all depends on how you got it or the type of ptsd you have.

Thank you.  I am working on it.  I am currently looking for a job.  I miss the camaraderie and structure of working.  I miss that feeling of contributing, and being part of something. I am a fighter. :)
