In 1999 I had a acc. that left me with 2 popped discs both eyes lose a concussion on my concussion and a sense of  some how my life was,  in my brain, immediatlly  pushed ahead 1 year and I had to relive that time. Left to my own means I return to working 2 years later. Aug of 2007 I crushed both legs at work. I am still in PT and have had rods and plates installed and after 5 trips under the knife I still suffer like every day I,m starting over,  In the sence I have pain and any strighting I gained is lost. Do you think I suffer PTSD >   any help.

Coming here to share tells me you are healing, it takes time but I do believe that you can get to a point of feeling okay,I have found acceptance a great help and if I get overly concerned I ground myself, I switch off my thoughts and wont let them over whelm me, its a small steps , we Humans have a lot of resilliance when you think of all we go through.

not auto acct. hid on right side of face with what is commonly referred to as a headache ball about 180 Pd's swinging on a 90 ft, cable from 40 or so travel. I only seen a therapist about the legs 4 or 5 times (want more who called this a period of mourning.. Not really what I was trying to convey.I was balanced on rehab or change in occupation. My head trauma was never checked with any real dept (no coming rewards$$$)  no shoes on service, if you know what I mean. stopped drinking anyway so one plus and learned only I can make myself angry. this opened a new vision of who I am
thanks to all, I hope when I try to help sometimes I do

Yes.  Auto accidents are the #1 cause of PTSD.  I'm no doc though....you need to be evaluated by a psychiatrist to make a correct diagnosis.  I've had PTSD for many years and the symptoms you describe sound familiar.

I'm very sorry for all that you have been through and I hope that you continue to heal.

I am so sorry you were hurt so badly , and you do more than likely have PTSD you could get a diagnosis from your Doctor, not easy to move on when you are in pain, have you family you live with to help you get through this trauma , come back and tell us more we would like to hear from you.

Sorrry no one answered you. You are highly likely to have PTSD. Can you see a counselor or therapist. I would thik that you need this badly.

Take care of yourself,

Anna
