getting off meds
Hi, I was rearended in 98 since then the Doctors have me on morphine,lortabs, muscle relaxers, ambein,mobic,and more. I`m still in pain. lately I have been feeling so sick of taking all these meds and wondering what it is doing to my liver and body as a whole. feeling weak just not good. My husband tells me i`m going to die if the Doctors don`t stop giving me all the pills he said they don`t care about you. I want to try to get off all of them. What can i do? What if the pain is to much for me and i can`t make it through the day?
You dont tell us what the diagnosis was for you to be taking all these meds? You need to ask your Doctor about getting off them, I know there is a protocal for this and it weaning slowly off them only he will know which way to do this, I agree if your Husband is concerned you should be evaluated even by a second opinion, Good Luck
