is there a cure for this disorder or is it life long

michelle here is there a cure for post trauma stress disorder im on weekly councilling for this but im not ready for it as yet cause of my relationship councilling  does these conditions fade away and come back ant time even though i have talk therapy im orso on paxil for this condition. im confused how longi have to stay on meds for im always a extra sensitive person and gets hurt uptight very easily i even yhyperventalate if i went off med ill problly be like i was before

Hi Michelle, I am not certain if the condition fades away, your counsellors may have input about that, I know it gets better, you learn how to cope and accept what happened to you, your Doctor will tell you when he thinks you are ready to come off the meds, when you do there are many supplements to take /books to read and people to talk who will help you .
