propranolol - causes memory loss

Hello, I am a twenty year old girl. I was diagnosed with palpitation and anxiety problems three years ago and was prescribed to take medicine, which constituted mainly Hipress 50 or Telonol 50 or Dizeral, according to availability. I started taking such medication since then, and recently I have got to know that the main compound, propranolol, present in these medicine pills, is also used to treat PTSD which is a cure for the said, by erasing memory of the patient. i am just concerned for the fact that the prolonged use of propranolol might cause any sort of memory loss to me. Kindly advise me in this regard.
