Hi, I have been on lyrica for about 6 months now and it does help me some. I would ask my Pharmasist about any interactions between them. When you put in the script they should know right away if there are any comlpications with taking both drugs. It is part of the system that they use, also the Pharm should also know and be able to answer any qustions that you have. Hope that you can get some pain relief.

Hello Lisamcm,
Welcome to MedHelp. I am glad that you found us at the Pain Management Forum Community. This is what I was able to find about taking Adderall with other medications:
Before taking Adderall, tell your doctor if you are using any of the following drugs:
blood pressure medications;
a diuretic (water pill);
cold or allergy medicines (antihistamines);
acetazolamide (Diamox);
chlorpromazine (Thorazine);
ethosuximide (Zarontin);
guanethidine (Ismelin);
haloperidol (Haldol);
lithium (Eskalith, Lithobid);
methenamine (Hiprex, Mandelamine, Urex);
phenytoin (Dilantin), phenobarbital (Luminal, Solfoton);
propoxyphene (Darvon, Darvocet);
reserpine;
sodium bicarbonate (Alka-Seltzer); or
antidepressants such as amitriptyline (Elavil), amoxapine (Ascendin), clomipramine (Anafranil), desipramine (Norpramin), imipramine (Tofranil), or nortriptyline (Pamelor).
This list is not complete and there may be other drugs that can interact with Adderall. Tell your doctor about all the prescription and over-the-counter medications you use. This includes vitamins, minerals, herbal products, and drugs prescribed by other doctors. Do not start using a new medication without telling your doctor.
I would consult with your pharmacist as they are the expert in how medications react with one another. I would be cautious until I discuss this with him/her. Best of luck to you. I hope your pain will be eased soon. Please let us know how you are doing. Take Care, Tuck
