Welcome to the Pain Management Forum. There are no doctors on the forum. Our forum consists of members in chronic pain that offer suggestions, supportSupport Support 500 and information for others in similar circumstances.
I encourage you to discuss this with your parents and return to your PCP. I suffered a complete ACL tear 18 years ago. It took over a year for the pain to stop. However even now it can return depending on my activity level. So it may take some time before you are pain free but certainly this should be re-evaluated.
Please bring your pain to your parents attention. Good luck to you. Take care, Tuck
