Welcome Mudgett to the Pain Management Forum of MedHelp. I am glad that you have found us but sorry you are having pain. I am sorry I do not know how effective the drugs will work in combination for controlling your pain. I do know that they are considered effective in their own right. I have copied the interaction between them following the information on imiprimine, see below:

To this day, Imipramine is often considered the "Gold Standard" antidepressant as its ability to lift the most severe depressive episodes is unsurpassed. Imipramine has additional indications for the treatment of panic attacks, chronic pain, and Kleine-Levin syndrome.

Interactions between lyrica(pregabalin) and Imipramine (imipramine)

MONITOR: Central nervous system- and/or respiratory-depressant effects may be additively or synergistically increased in patients taking multiple drugs that cause these effects, especially in elderly or debilitated patients.

MANAGEMENT: During concomitant use of these drugs, patients should be monitored for potentially excessive or prolonged CNS and respiratory depression. Ambulatory patients should be counseled to avoid hazardous activities requiring complete mental alertness and motor coordination until they know how these agents affect them, and to notify their physician if they experience excessive or prolonged CNS effects that interfere with their normal activities.

I am hoping we have a member that has experience with this combination and can answer your question better than I have. Please let us know how they work for you. We learn from one another.

Thank you for sharing and take care, Tuck
