Bicep Pain

I am new to the web site and am unsure of what column I should post my question, so I decided on this one. I am having pain in my bicep that starting around 1 month ago and was not that painful, but over the last month it has got even worse. This might sound strange but when I sleep at night and if I lay on my left side, when I want to roll over to my back or my right side, I can barely move my arm and the pain is all in my bicep. It is almost like it can not be moved and in order for me to move it, I have to do it very slowly.
I do not have this at all in my right arm, only in my left. The other strange thing is that the horrible pain is only in my bicep and thats it.
If anyone has had anything like this or known of anyone having this, please let me know. I do not want to see the Dr. due to insurance but if if continues and gets more painful, I will.

Thanks
Painful Bicep

Hello Paula,

I am not certain but I beleive you posted as B32 a few days ago regarding upper arm pain. If you look at the response to B32 they will still apply. If I am in error and it wasn't you than I still think you will find the response helpful.

I am so sorry your pain continues. I understand you do not have insurance but you should have this pain evaluated. I would consult with a physician, maybe even an Urgent Care Clinic will be less expensive for you.

Best of luck to you. Please let us know how you are doing. Some warm compresses and NSAID may ease the discomfort if you haven't already tried those. Take Care, Tuck
