I woke up one night in severe unbearable pain that I have never experienced before in my life. I had a crazy pain in my calf like a charlie horse and could not get rid of it. It went on in attacks for about an hour and then when I woke up again later that morning I couldn't walk on that leg. Now when I get a small pain in my calf before bed, I am afraid to go to sleep because of the possibility of the severe pain coming back. Does anyone know what I can do to prevent it or stop it when it happens? Stretching out my toes either way does not work.
