Can cervical compression cause toe numbness?

Does anyone know if cervical compression of the nerves cause toe numbeness?  The past few days I've noticed my right toe is numb, espcially when I move in certain positions.  I'm not sure if this is due to the nerve compression in my neck or not.  I find it very strange.  I will bring it up to the neurosurgeons when I see them.

I am so sorry that you have yet another painful issue to deal with!! My heart goes out to you.

I would imagine that this right toe numbness could be related to a spinal structural issue but I doubt it originates from the cervical region. As you know I am far from an expert.

The toe numbness could be totally unrelated to your spine. It may be a peripheral neuropathy. I am glad that you are going to discuss this with your neurologist.

Please dear let us know what he has to say about your numbness and of course anything else you would care to share. You know that we are here for you and we are all concerned. I wish you the best and hope that this will be nothing more than a quickly passing unrelated symptoms.

You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.

Hugs to You,
~Tuck

Usually the numbness in toes and feet is do to lumbar compression.  The spinal nerves are so complex that anything is possible.  Even after a triple bilateral lumbar fusion my big toe is still numb.  I've also had a double cervical fusion which helped with numbness in hands and arms.  Hope your doctor to figure this out.
