DEA raid

ive been working for a doctor office approximately 3 weeks.  i came into work this am and was greeted by the DEA. if i dont feel comfortable continuing to work for this provider can i resign and be eligiable for unemployment

speak with your employer about this. Chances are he/she will just lay you off, making you almost automatically eligible for benefits. I doubt the doctor would want an employee who "is not on board" working for him/her, I wouldn't...Good luck with this,

I agree to look up your state laws, but in general, if you have proof that you resign for a "just cause" then yes, you can still file for unemployment. You may have to fight it though, if your office tries to deny it.

That will depend on your current state laws. I would recommend asking your local unemployment office.
