Darvon...Pulled off the Market....

Hello Members,

I don't think many of us are prescribed Darvon...but I thought I would pass this announcement along to you.

"The FDA has asked the maker of Darvon and Darvocet -- pain medications on the market
since the 1950s and prescribed to millions of patients -- to stop selling the drugs
because they pose serious heart risks. The action includes generic versions, too."

If any of you are being prescribed this old...long time and weak narcotic please contact your physician. There are other alternatives and most are much more effective, in my opinion.
