I must correct myself, I was trying to say, identify what type of arthritis. meaning rheumatoid or osteo. instead i typed osteo and osteo. pls forgive my mistake. i'll start proofreading my comments. osteo is easier to live with and medically handle. rheumatoid is far more crippling. pls find out or if you know which type you have thats helpful. some rheumatoid people do not test positive in their blood for this type. instead rhumatologists identify it by the parts of the body it attacks and cripples. interesting that immunobiologists are rhumatologists. where are the docs titled osteo-ologists? are there any titled as such? probably rhetorrical question. again sorry for the typo
Hi arif, looks like you work out. if so could the movements with weights be effecting you? I also have degenrative disc disease, pretty bad and have for 20 yrs. Its really weird feeling. Bone on Bone pain is horrific. arthritis does make it cycle around your body. I venture to guess your thoracic region taking the worst of it right now. Thoracic surgeons also specialize in evrything located in the thoracic region, heart, lungs etc. yes there are heart and lung specialists but your symptoms sound like they are currently bothering your thoracic region. trying to emphasize that the middle spine does a lot of knocking on its neighbors. So, it is not uncommon for your middle spine also connected to the mid front anterior of your body to receive pain symptoms relayed from the region of your spine. I'm sorry arif, it really hurts, all the time, and keeps moving around. knowing whether you have osteo arthritis or osteo arthritis helps you understand the way your inflammation will cycle and ineditably materialize as you age. keep moving as much as possible. looks like you take care of yourself. One thing you may not know is this; both male and female hormones drive the autoimmune system. if your hormones are out of balance you can get that identified by a swab of your saliva, most accurate and innexpensive way to test hormones. findout what is off and get bio identical hormone replacement therapy, NOT SYNTHETIC! Our autoimmune system is so effected by hormones that it can cause extreme disease. what that means is our dna/genetic makeup is essentially the default code to what health ailments we will get as a result of our parents dna, etc. back to the rib pain, too many crunches or not enough? change the position of which you are doing them. find the smartest way to keep the muscle without causing unnatural movements to the boney matter. And I suggest tai chi, yoga, or stretching, pilates perhaps. i had to stop running which threw me into a deep depression. those endorphines were so helpful in creating natural pain killers and sthe sense of knowing i'd accomplished a 4 - 6 mile run was so exhiliarating It was my high. slept better now i sleep less. anyhow, after i get my hormones biologically balanced I will begin Enbrel shots once a month. I too have psoriasis. Typically, when you have psoriasis and develop arthritis later on it is of the osteo nature. as i sit here typing my vertabraes are screaming. pls let me know if you have any questions you think I may be abe to answer. we may be related somewhere down the line with our similar health issues. ciao bella
