Discomfort Pain and praying that someone can help

pain under the right side of her rib like burning all the time and she can press on it just to make it pain sometimes go away for a second or two. she has gone to so many doctors everyone of them tell her something different.

Doctor 1- Gastrologist- gall bladder. Did upper Throat and did bladder.  Had insertion of 1 in belly button no other cuts on her. And said the gallbladder was working only 7% so they took it out. Still the pain and the burning. Said go back to Doctor and your fixed.     (NOT YET))))))

Doctor 2- MD- said shingles- gave her pills and did CT scan.  All xrays everything that was under insurance.  still have pain didn’t do anything about it.  (NOT YET))))  said go to a NURO Doctor.

Doctor 3- Neurologist- said it could be costal neuropathy.  Gave her B12 shots  (NOT YET)))) nothing is helping it.

Doctor 4- Pain Clinic Doctor of Atlanta, Ga.  Went and  (NOT YET))))) said don’t know what it is and need to see someone else

Doctor 5- Nuclear Doctor – did that and test was all neg. said go to your regular doctorn  (NOT YET)))))))

Doctor 6-  MD said go to a thoracic doctor (NOT YET))))))))

Doctor 7- Thoracic doctor- (NOT YET)))))))))))))) This one was a waste of time and money….. Now waiting for regular doctor to tell her who to go to next.  The doctor Thoracic one  made fun of her ok back to square one the doctor sent her to a thoracic doctor. went in and gave her hell saying shes dont know what kind of pain she has  and he could give her pain he she wants it. Told her your wasted my time today for your lousy pain and he cant help her very rude to her. -. I need to know what kind of lawyer or head doctor we go to with this stuff now. 7 doctors don’t know anything and this one said she needs to go home and take 4 asprin and watch her stomach be eaten away after a few years... she said what about the pain im having in the rib cage. he said its all in your head and im not treating you or taking my time for **** like that.  oh my....... this is getting out crazy. who do i write to now. please help me

Doctor 8- Gallbladder Doctor that took out Gallbladder. Maybe something happen then.    (NOT YET AGAIN)  Said nothing was wrong there just looked at it.

Doctor 9- Pain Clinic again. Said lets put a nerve block in and see what happens. Have to really think about this but it has nothing to do with the spine.

NOW WHAT??????  I would like to see her feeling good one more time shes only 53 years old and use to work in the yard all the time. now she goes home and lies in the bed everyday.

Welcome. I am sorry to hear this long, sad and frustrating story. Are you talking about yourself, a spouse or a friend? And are you in the USA?

Certainly "Doctor 7" needs to be reported!! Not only to the manager of the clinic but to the licensing board of physicians. Unfortunately there are physicians out there like him. Luckily they are far and few between but the do exist. I wonder why they ever wanted to get into medicine, certainly it wasn't a driving need to help humanity.

What next is a very good question. I'm sorry but I have no answers. I'm inclined to agree with "Doctor 3." I think he may be one to something but it will require more than a Vit B12 injection.

Don't give up your search even though it is frustrating. I may return to the neurologist and ask if he has additional recommendations. Others will post with their suggestions. It is a weekend and we tend to be a bit slower with responses during this time.

I am wondering if the Doctors...any of them has done a Liver Function test? Any Liver tests at all?? It sounds as if the pain may be located in that area. I have had similar pain, especially when I take too many medications. It effects my liver and the pain will start in that area moving down to the right lower abdomen area (right Quadrine).
I think that  because you have had negative results in most areas, you should seek out a Gastroenterologist and have them explore the Liver.
Ask your regular Doctor about this possibility.
