Drug screen for percocet came up negative???

I have back problems that I have had since I was very little. As well as a few other things going on. I am prescribed 5/325mg Percocet to be taken 2 tablets 3x a day.
I ALWAYS take them, and have never missed a dose.
At the doctor on Friday she told me she wanted me to sign a pain contract, and that I would be tested that day for a drug screen to make sure that it is in my system.
I signed the contract and went and took the test with NO WORRIES.
I took 2 that morning RIGHT BEFORE I walked into the doctors office.
They called me today (Monday) AM and told me that it came back negative and that I was obviously not taking it.
There is NO POSSIBLE way it can be negative! I am not on any other medications other than Remicade infusions.
They told me they will never prescribe it for me again, and I of course argued it! I asked if there is an possible way to re-test it, or get a blood screen instead.
I am NOT someone who would EVER sell them, or just keep them. I have WAY too much pain on a daily basis to just refill it and keep it, or sell it.
I do not like being called a liar! Is there anything I can do?
If I go to a different doctor, are they going to do the same thing?

I am absolutely shocked it came up negative! I just cannot believe it even tested negative.
Online results say that it was tested at 2000 ng/mL. Is that high? I don't know what that means, can anyone help me?

Thank you!

Doctors are typically super "strict" about the pain contracts.  If it were MY pain specialist and I came up negative - or positive for illegal substances - she'd kick me out of her practice so fast and red flag my medical file so that every doctor I see will know about it. Not sure how that happens though.
Good thing you did your best to explain yourself with your negative results.  Perhaps you can make an appt. with your doctor to discuss face to face what happened.
Good luck and sorry this happened

Have you checked your medicine to see if it's the right one?  I've only had that happen once, but if I wasn't paying attention I would have been taking something I shouldn't have.  There are websites that help you identify drugs so  you can check it that way.  Also, if you argued, I would think they would have ran another test just to make sure someone didn't mess up in the lab.  Since they don't believe you and won't re-test you, I'd try another doctor, one that's not in the same office if possible.  Sorry, I can't help you with the results.  Good luck and hope you can get some pain relief.
